What you would have heard LittleMan tell me......
Hey Mom, guess what?
What?
We're doing this new thing at school called Rocket Math, and guess what I am?
What?
I'm a C. We have to go all the way to Z, and guess what happens after we get to Z?
What?
I don't know.

LittleMan's first t-ball game this season was Saturday. It was suppose to be at 10am, but we woke up to rain. They pushed it back to 4:30pm.
LittleMan was SOOOOOOO excited and READY to play....

The team was SOOOOOO not ready for the game. LittleMan included.
Our coach is new to coaching, his first year. And I thought I noticed that they were not covering all their bases, if you'll excuse the cliche'. But after all, we missed the first month of games last season because LittleMan decided to play rough and broke his pinkie finger 2 days before opening day. So what did I know, they could totally be ready.
Anyway, they got smoked. 23-7 And it was all okay, because they are kids, it's the first game, and it was some of the kids' first year playing. But the parents of the opposing team. ERRRR If I wasn't such a lady, some people would have gotten their asses kicked!
They were laughing every time one of our players messed up or didn't know what to do.
Trashy people.

Anyway, LittleMan was all upset, thinking it was all his fault because he could have gotten more people out if he would have realized that when you "tag" someone out, you actually have to "tag" them with the ball, not shove them down face first into a pile of mud with your open hand.
But no one on our side laughed at that kid. Or any other kid. Or booed them, or told our kids to do bad things to them.
Unlike the other team's fans.

Anyway, hopefully they will continue to get better. I don't care if they win a single game this year. I know it's not about that. It's about feeling good about themselves though.
And so long as other "adults" cannot figure out how to SHUT THEIR MOUTHS, getting better is the only answer.
Or jail time, someone wanna come bail me out??

I'm so nervous for him.
I hope he's ready!
His throwing has gotten better since I bought the Pitching Trainer.
His first game is Saturday morning.
I will be working his butt off tomorrow evening, getting him some practice in!!

Growing up, French Toast was one of my favorites. I remember watching my Granny make the egg dip, dip the bread, and then ... French Toast!
I've been wanting to make some for a while, but all the recipes I've found that sounded good, were over-night French Toast. I've never remembered to do it all up the night before, so I've never made it.
While browsing over at Organized Mom, I stumbled upon this recipe for French Toast and tried it this morning. It was scrumptious! [Next time, though, I will leave the cinnamon out, as I don't like cinnamon all that much, it dries my mouth out.]

For those of you who noticed that my kid's names have reverted back to LittleMan & Princess, No, you are not imagining things. I had shared their names on my blog.
When Hubby found out,
He. Freaked. The. Hell. Out.
And the more I listened to his reasoning, the more freaked out I got. I trust my new blogging buddies, but what about all the strangers who have accidentally ended up at my blog while searching at Google.
So, back to the original idea. =)

Well I've had some quite hard times with Baby Boy {the now 5 month old baby that I babysit.} [He's a really fussy baby, which you can read about here and here.]
I've been keeping him since the beginning of the year, and there are days when I want to pull my hair out!
Last week, LittleMan was on Spring Break and I had to keep Baby Boy too. So that meant me with 3 kids. All Day.
I. Almost. Ran. Away. From. Home.
Not really, but OMG!
It was the worst week of my life. And that is saying a whole lot considering the week I had in August 2005.
So I told Baby Boy's Dad that once LittleMan's school let out for summer, that I wouldn't be able to keep Baby Boy anymore. I didn't want to make anyone mad or anything, but I didn't want to spend the entire Summer in a pissy mood either.
Baby Boy has been on the waiting list at the daycare where his Big Bro attends. They have been waiting for a child to begin walking, to make a spot available for Baby Boy.
So I gave them 2 months notice, and hoped to the Big Man Above that the child walked ASAP.
Then it came. Yesterday, A was picking Baby Boy up and told me the news.
Not next week, but the week after, Baby Boy will begin at that daycare.
OH YES!!
Now I love the little booger, but for the Love of Sanity, enough was enough!
So after next week, I will be unemployed again. But I will still be happier than a coondog on a bare leg, lol.
